00:00Adam you're from Surrey and why are you here? Surrey in England yes. Why are you here?
00:04I wanted to be part of it. I heard about the event a few days ago, wanted to come
00:08over. Just incredible, really wonderful atmosphere, a pleasure to be here, wonderful
00:14arch, a real wonderful community spirit. And there are barriers all the way down
00:17there, were there not that many people? It's incredible, there are so many people. The
00:21atmosphere was really, really wonderful. The music, the feeling all generations here commemorating, it's fantastic.
00:28The arch is fantastic to see because it commemorates all the different angles of
00:33where we have served, whether it's Korea, First World War, Second World War, Falklands,
00:38it is everybody and it's all those who are Irish, Northern Irish and it marks the
00:43great background really of the British Army from here. And that's why you were
00:48determined to be here? That's exactly why I was here, but also my father was in the 8th
00:53Belfast ACAC. And 8th Belfast was made up of soldiers from Belfast, both sides of the
01:01community. Many of them from here, right? Many from here, many from the Shank Hill.
01:05And there is, there's just an amazing here, particularly Colonel Cunningham, who was their
01:10commanding officer, who pulled it all together here and was very much part of the lodge.
01:24Hello.
