Derry manager Paddy Tally reflects on Sunday's All Ireland Group 4 draw against Galway in Celtic Park
Transcript
00:01Had a dramatic day. Does it feel like the one that got away or was it more relief at the end?
00:06I think they're both. Definitely one that got away. Should have won the game.
00:10Didn't close it out but at the same time very very happy and relieved to be able to get a draw at that game.
00:16It looked as if it was gone but we killed a very good score to get a draw so happy enough for that.
00:20I mean looking at it, I think he's played the last 12 games against Division 1 teams.
00:24It's another one where we're writing that to the very end and it said a lot about the character
00:28that even after they got the late goal that you were able to fight back and get the draw.
00:32I never doubt the character in this team that's one sure thing.
00:34There's a good belief in them, there's a good sort of bond among the group. They're very tight nut.
00:39And it takes that to come through matches they got. It's just we were at this point we didn't.
00:43We didn't win the match. I think we were a better team on the day for large parts.
00:47But we conceded four goals and conceded four goals in any match never went to many.
00:52And now all the playoffer in Dublin basically must win the winner take all type thing?
00:56It is aye and I think it depends on what happens in the other match today too.
01:00Between our man and Dublin could be all four teams fighting for qualification.
01:03So we'll see what happens.
